Yoga is that extraordinary, exemplary uniquely Indian technique, helping man to develop a deep awareness of him of every vibration and pulsation within, at the body, mind and intellect levels, by virtue of which he can master the forces internal and external. Yoga modern times can rightly be designated as the technique of holistic living-man understanding himself to be, not a part, but the whole of Thrust, Existence, Knowledge and Bliss.

of yoga are numerous, including improved physical fitness, stress control, general well being, mental clarity, and greater self-understanding. Even persons with disabilities can adapt to yoga. Even persons who need special care and attention can enjoy the benefits of yoga. The yogaasanas help in improving the strength of your muscles, muscles coordination and makes them flexible and agile and can help a bad back feel better. If someone wants to keep themselves fit, have a check at their cholesterol levels and their weight can use the benefits of yoga. Yoga also helps in normalizing and regulating blood pressure and to enhance the performance of the heart. The National Institute of Health says that when people tend to reduce the stress level in their lives by calming their mind, the physical body can heal itself. So yoga is viewed as a mechanism for self-healing and helps you to get into the proper shape on several levels of the body.
Other studies show that patients with heart problems who had a dose of stress reduction programs that were based on yoga showed better improvements than those who followed simple exercises or did nothing. Many other researches in United States and India have indicated that yoga is the best treatment for several ailments such as asthma problems, epilepsy, over anxiety and higher stress levels. When athletes are considered, a good practice of yoga can act as a powerful enhancement along with their regular training exercises. Yoga makes the athlete to train himself a bit harder than usual because yoga gives them a higher range of motion and it reduces their fear of injury.

Yoga is often described as skill in action.
This is very true in the case of women in different phases of their reproductive cycle – either in their early pregnancy or in the stage of menopause. Yoga fitness and aerobics fitness go a long way in beating stress and maintain their health and fitness.
