Fitness programs for women

From puberty to marriage, even during childbirth the woman goes through a lot of hormonal changes all through this cycle and it becomes very important to keep her fit and healthy.  There are a lot of fitness programs that have been designed specifically for women and go all out to the betterment of women.  The best thing that women can do is to enroll them in fitness programs specially designed for them.  The mistake they do is that amidst the household chores and attending to the various requirements of the various members at home, the priorities are varied and they have hardly any time to spare for themselves.

Women need to break this and come out of their enclosures to concentrate on their health and well being.
When we talk of women, those in the menopausal age need a special mention – Weight gain, feeling stressed out and irritated and feeling hunger pangs could all be symptoms of menopause.  Women at menopause put on weight more on their stomach region than anywhere else.  Since the hormones stop functioning absorption of insulin in the blood could also become a problem and women who face this can get this treated by having foods rich in carbohydrates and proteins.  Women might also find them becoming susceptible to fragile bones and in some cases even osteoporosis.  Another point that needs to be noted here is that they could face problems of lower metabolism rate – whereby the body converts all the food it has access into fat.

What women during this stage need to do is follow a simple and regular diet plan – whereby they eat at almost the same time everyday and they eat smaller more nutritious foods containing vegetables and fruits and avoid unhealthy, high calorie foods.  There are some foods which act as depressants and women must strictly shoo them away.  Regular and routine exercises of simple forms like yoga or aerobics should be followed by menopausal women and this will try to balance out the stress in their bodies as well as helping the women to lose weight that she has inadvertently gained.
