Types of diet plans followed for a healthy life
The term nutrition is also called as aliment or nourishment. This nutrition helps for better survival in today’s hectic life. Most of the problems can be prevented by following good eating habits. Especially spinach is most preferred by doctors for better disease free life. Dietitians and health professionals suggest consuming spinach for at least once a week. These plants have various health benefits. Poor eating habits may lead to many deficiency diseases like scurvy, beriberi, and kwashiorkor. It also helps to keep the obesity intact. Sainfoins are kind of herb, which is widely grown in Eurasian. It has pale pink flowers and round single-seeded pods. It is considered to highly nutritious food, which cures all kind of skin diseases and also prevents dry skin, pre-mature aging. This plant is rich in tannins, which is the major provider of proteins.
Sainfoin is very difficult to grow in many places, since they yield only one crop per year. Hence it is seldom grown in most of the cultivation areas. Amaranthus cruentus is another species of plant type which provides high nourishment for the man-kind. It is just like most common flowering plant. The high nourishment is obtained from staple amaranth grain. There are three species; they are Amaranth, A.hypochondriacus and A.caudatus. It is dark pink color flower. It grows up to 6 ft in height, and grows in summer to fall. Its seeds are eaten as cereals. They are usually black in wild plant, and they appear white in domestic form. They are smashed to flour and used in various cooking recipes. They are popped as popcorn, and they can be cooked as porridge, which is considered to very healthy food. The leaves can also be utilized as spinach, and seeds are soaked in water to make nutritious sprouts.
A.cruentus does not come under staple food; however it is grown and sold as healthy food. Sheep sorrel possess vitamins like beta carotene, tartaric acid, oxalates, anthraquinones, Glycosides. This species is widely used to cure disease like inflammation, cancer, scurvy and fever. It is used as basic ingredient in preparation commonly called by the name Essiac.
